Yardling, Varsity Fencers Win

Freshman fencers beat Bradford Durfee Saturday by a score of 15 to 12. Walt Rawles swept his epec event by winning all three matches. Paul Porand, Kim McCully, Mike Finklestein, and Dave Kenney all took two of their matches.

Kilmer S. McCully '55 of Thayer Hall and Alexander, Virginia was elected captain of the Yardling team before the meet.

In an informal match with the Boston Fencing Club the Varsity won, 19 to 8. Captain Eric Sollee swept foil as did George McNair, Jack Smith, and Lee Scherer in epec.
