More than 350 Dudley commuters along with 35 faculty guests took over Eliot House dining hall last night to hear their first student talk from President Conant.
The occasion was Dudley's second--and largest--annual dinner. John U. Monro '34, director of the Financial Aid Center, preceded Conant on the program.
Conant's talk was one of his regular addresses to the Houses. It dealt with University and world affairs, and was off the record. Munro made a plea that commuters show what they could do with their new House status in the coming House group tutorial plan.
