John W. Sears of Eliot and Boston, and Ira H. Peterman of Dunster and Yonkers, N.Y., have been chosen permanent secretary and treasurer, respectively, of the Class of 1952.
Elected at a recent meeting of the Permanent Class Committee, Sears will have charge of all reunions, regional dinners, class reports, and other class activities. Peterman, as treasurer, will work with the secretary, but his primary job will be the handling of class funds.
The two have been elected to what are considered life-long positions, but they are subject to reelection at their third, sixth, tenth, and 25th reunions.
