Harvard Students To Vote on Divestment From Israel in Inaugural HUA Election Survey
With a legitimate hope for victory, the 150 1b, crews have gone to Tigertown to row today in what may be their best chance in three years to win the Goldthwait Cup from Yale and Princeton.
Mentioned, along with Penn, by the New York Times as one of the two best lightweight crews in the east, the varsity is undefeated this season. Both the first boat and the J.V.'s have won over Columbia, Dartmouth, and twice over M.I.T.
The Yardling boat, which won all its races by a narrow margin, is in a tougher situation: both the Princeton and Yale freshman crews are reportedly strong.
Bots Get Captains
All crews with the same boating as last week will be captained for the first time this season. In this week's elections the varsity chose No. 6 man Theodore G. House of Payton, Illinois and Lowell bridge will captain the second crew, while James E. Barrett Jr. of New York City and Mower leads the freshmen.
All three crews will be in Princeton next week for the N.E.R.A. competition.
