Harvard Students To Vote on Divestment From Israel in Inaugural HUA Election Survey
The year had its share of humor. In December, a survey came out showing that Harvard graduates averaged 1-6 off spring while Yale grads had 1-7 children. On the other hand, Vassar and Wellesley were far behind with 6 and 86 respectively. From this the undergraduate, with a slight chuckle, concluded that men have more children than women.
In the spring, Phillips Brooks House inaugurated a drive for clothing to aid needy Syrians. The University complied, donating 300 neckties.
John P. Marquant, in a review of the Lampoon, concluded that the Bow Street dunces were trying unsuccessfully to ape Life and Punch. The former 'Poonster advised the boys to stick to the Lampoon.
