Coach Lloyd Jordan led his depleted squad through what he called "a typical Monday practice," except that it was closed to the press and was before the Yale game. The starters were excused early, while the second and third elevens remained outside to scrimmage the junior varsity.
Asked if Joe Conzelman, who injured his leg Saturday, would be ready for the Yale game, Jordan said it was "not impossible but improbable." He indicated that Jerry Marsh would run in Conzelman's place at quarterback. On the other hand, Jordan reported that center Jeff Coolidge's bad knee "is making good progress." The coach also stated, "We'll probably let Clasby do a little passing later on in the week."
