Dunster House, 42 1/2 points ahead of second-place Leverett, leads in the intramural race for the Straus Trophy and is on its way toward winning it for the second straight year.
While the Funsters captured no first places this fall, they had the best all-around record. They placed second in touch football and cross country and third in tackle football and soccer.
Leverett won the tackle championship and finished second in the soccer league, but last place results in touch football and the cross country meet hurt its general standing.
Winthrop and Lowell, which won the touch football and soccer competitions respectively, placed third and sixth in Straus points because of poor showings in other sports. Kirkland House, which won the intramural cross country meet, couldn't match that standing in touch, tackle, and soccer, and stands fifth in over-all points.
The standings: Dunster, 337 1/2; Leverett, 295; Winthrop, 285; Adams, 282 1/2; Kirkland, 275; Lowell, 255; Dudley, 245; Eliot, 235.
