Nichols Junior College scored a last minute goal to defeat the Yardling soccer team, 3 to 2. A strong wind made sustained passing nearly impossible in the game which took place yesterday afternoon at the Business School Field.
Ed Burlingame, left inside, scored both of Harvard's goals, and the team was bolstered by the return of wings Harry Holmes and Mike Robertson. Nichols got off to a fast start and led the freshmen 2 to 0 at the end of the first period. The Yardlings tallied twice in the second period, but the Nick's last-ditch goal won.
