The American Council on Germany will Held a conference at the Littauer Center Dec. 5 and 6 to discuss political, social, and economic relations between the United States and Germany. Also considered will be the problems of European defense and Germany.
At the opening meeting, the council will discuss "The United States and Germany-Two Friendly Nations." In addition, four discussion panels will meet simultaneously between 3 and 5 p.m. each day, and a final plenary session at the Commander Hotel, under the chairmanship of Paul M. Herzog '27.
Speakers will include Dr. Heinz L. Krekeler, the German Ambassador, Thomas Dudley Cabot, former State Department Director of International Security, and Dr. Heinrich Schneider, Professor of German literature.
