'53 Petitions for Class Committee Due February 21

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Candidates for the '53 Permanent Class Committee will come up for election March 2 and 3, John S. Chatfield '55, Council member in charge of the election, announced yesterday.

Petitions for the 12 positions on the committee will be accepted at the Student Council office until the deadline, 5 p.m. Saturday, February 21.

Duties of the committee are supervising '53 at graduation, running the class activities after graduation, organizing class reunions, and acting as a liaison with the University.

Three Get Marshal Posts

The three men who receive the highest vote in this election will become class marshals and the next nine will serve with the marshals at graduation and afterwards.

Chatfield explained that the election was being held unusually late because of the advanced graduation date, moved up two weeks from last year. Actual election for the Houses is slated for March 3. Dudley will vote March 2 and 3, at lunch only.
