Six, Swimmers, Quintet Play Away

With a win over Northeastern under its belt and Dick Lionette back in action after a bad cold, the basketball team faces an erratic Army club tonight at West Point.

The game will be the first of two road contests to be played over the long weekend. On Monday, the five travels to Princeton.

Army has beaten strong Yale, but the Cadets have also lost to weaker teams such as Dartmouth and Brandeis. Nevertheless, Army's Ed Weaver, 6-foot 4-inch center, and high scorer Bill Hannon should help to make the game close.

Telecast Due

Lionette sat out the Northeastern game, but will start at West Point. Harry Sacks and Bill Dennis will open at forward slots, and the two Eds--Krinsky and Condon--are slated to start in the guard posts.

Princeton again should provide rugged competition for the Crimson. The Tigers walloped the quintet, 53 to 58, earlier this month at the IAB. Foster Cooper, 6-8, Fred Tritschler, and Phil Zuravleff will lead the host team into action.

The Army game will be nationally televised, but not in New England.

The Yardling quintet will be favored in its tussle with Andover at the IAB at 5 p.m. tonight. Crimson starters will be Warren Kantrowitz, Bob Bowman, Bruce Downey, John Hurst, and Howie Adler.
