Russell Stanger will conduct the Harvard-Radcliffe Orchestra in its annual spring concert this Sunday night. Works by Beethoven, Diamond, Schumann, and Handel highlight the program, to be given in Sanders Theatre at 8:30 p.m.
Featured pianist Judith Yeager '53 will be heard in her first solo performance with the orchestra. Soloists in the Handel composition are Sandor Shapiro '54, Paul Revitt '55, and Robert Swaney '53.
In addition to their local appearance, the orchestra has scheduled concerts in Natick, Floral Park, N.Y., Fredericksburg, Va., Richmond, Va., and Washington, D.C. The group's performances are presented under the auspices of the Pierian Sodality of 1808.
