'Cliffe '54, '55 Elect Fisher, Ross; Seniors Name Butler Top Marshal

Holly W. Butler of Mendota, III, and Moors Hall was elected First Senior Class Marshal yesterday, with 98 votes, Betsy C. Ross '54, Electoral Chairman disclosed last night.

Naney Barrow of Manhasset, N.Y. and Bertram Hall came in second with 89 votes, giving her the post of Commencement Chairman. E. Adelo Gilmore of Quincy and Moors Hall was third with 81 votes. This gives her the position of Baccalaureate Chairman.

The two Class Night chairman are Gracia Taketa of Washington, D.C. and Bertram Hall, who was fourth with 74 votes and Louise Province of Chevy Chase, Md. and Briggs Hall, who was fifth with 53 votes. Ruth I. Abrams of Newton and Cabot Hall was next with 46 votes in the election.

In the '54 class elections, Nancy R. Fisher of Washington, D.C. and Moors Hall was elected president; Ann W. Boyd of Highland Park, III, and Saville House, vice-president; Lois E. Herr of Hohkus. N.J. and Edmands House, secretary; and S. Jean Ross of Cincinnati and Harvard Hall, treasurer.

In the '55 class elections, Betsy C. Rose of New York City and Briggs Hall was elected president: Joauua Keehler of Milton and Briggs Hall, vice-president; Clementine Kuhlman of Nashville and Briggs Hall, secretary; and Lney B. Harry of Brookline and Bertram Hall, treasurer.

Miss. Ross said that the election turn out was small. The smallest group was the seniors who voted for class marshals.
