Full expense scholarships will be provided for elected foreign students in a special seven week program to be held at Michigan State in Lansing this summer, it was announced yesterday.

The program, called the "Institute for Foreign Junior Technicians," will be held under the joint auspices of Point IV, local governments and private industry.

An eligible student must be completing his bachelor's degree or better, returning to his country this year, and must be preparing for a career in agriculture, health, education, industry, community service, or public administration.

The purpose of the program is to show the foreign technicians how they can best apply their knowledge and skill in home country service. Students will spend the first six weeks studying at Michigan State and visiting industries, homes, and farms. The last week will be spent in Washington studying Technical Cooperation Administration.
