Lloyd Jordan Has No Comment on Threats

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Football coach Lloyd Jordan last night would make no comment on a Boston newspaper report that his family had received threatening telephone messages after the Massachusetts football game.

"I couldn't comment until I see the article," the Crimson mentor stated, referring to a Boston Post account of "unprintable messages" sent to his family.

The Post story quoted Jordan as saying, "I have heard of it in other parts of the country, but that was in big-time football. If I ever catch the men who left those messages, they will never forget it."

The newspaper article, written by Gerry Hern, said that Jordan's family had gotten anonymous phone calls on several occasions since the varsity lost to the University of Massachusetts, 13-7.
