The Glee Club will make its first spring vacation trip to a foreign country this April, when it tours Canada, it was announced yesterday.
"Although all the arrangements have not been made, we are very enthusiastic about going," said James L. Pratt '55, Club manager. "Right now it looks like we'll visit Toronto, Ottawa, and Quebec."
In addition, the Glee Club and the Radcliffe Choral Society have announced a trip to New York, Brooklyn, and Washington with the Boston Symphony Orchestra, from March 6 through March 10. They will present Berlioz' "Damnation of Faust."
The same three organization also plan to play Bach's "B Minor Mass" in concerts April 22, 23, 24, and 26 in Boston. It will be the first time in five years that the Glee Club has performed this work.
Last summer the Glee Club toured cities in the western part of the U.S.
