Senator Joseph R. McCarthy and the U.S. Army will testify against each other before television cameras at 10:30 a.m. today.
McCarthy and his associates and Army officials and their counsel will have the right of cross-examination of witnesses equal to that of the members of the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, which will conduct the inquiry. McCarthy has temporarily stepped down from membership on the subcommittee.
Members of the Law School faculty will analyze each days' session at 7:35 p.m. throughout the hearings over WGBH-FM. Tonight's commentaters will be Robert Braucher LLB. '39, professor of Law, and Theodore A. McCabe, Jr., teaching fellow in Law.
