Field Goal Record Broken by Hastings

Robert A. Hastings, sophomore guard on the varsity basketball team, set a new Ivy League record when he scored five field goals in five tries against Brown Jan. 8.

Two other League records have already been established, with the season less than half over. Ed Robinson, Yale sophomore guard sank 18 free throws in 23 foul tries against Brown at New Haven on Jan. 11, and the Pennsylvania team scored 40 foul shots, also against Brown.
