Lodging Unavailable For Winter Carnival

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The vacationing undergraduate will not be able to find accommodations within a 15-mile radius of Hanover during the 45th Dartmouth Winter Carnival this weekend.

Russell Brace, an undergraduate director of the annual Big Green weekend, predicted yesterday that the only overnight shelter available will be with friends in the area. Fraternities have each been allowed 45 private invitations.

Tickets to the leading sports attractions have also been snapped up by the expected 4,000 visitors. Dartmouth hockey games with Yale and Boston College, a basketball encounter with Princeton and a swim meet with Navy are completely sold out.
