Olympians to Play Hockey Team

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The varsity hockey team will join forces with Boston College and Northeastern in the Boston Arena at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, in a game against the U.S. Olympic hockey team. Each of the college teams will play one period against the Olympics, with B.C. starting, Northeastern playing the second period, and the Crimson the third.

Boston University was originally invited to face the Olympic team, but was forced to decline because its athletic policy stipulates that the Terriers cannot participate in any Sunday athletic events.

Bill Cleary, 1955 Crimson center and holder of the NCAA scoring record, will start at the same position for the Olympic team in its only Boston appearance.

Proceeds from the game will go to the Olympic Ice Hockey Fund. Students can pick up tickets for $2 at the H.A.A. before 5 tonight.
