Crimson Soccer Team Rated Even At M.I.T. Today

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Crimson soccer team will rate only an even chance to shake a three-game losing streak against a veteran M.I.T. squad at 4 p.m. this afternoon on Tech Field.

Tech will field nearly the same team which lost to the Crimson in overtime last year, 2 to 1, but is much stronger due to major shakeups in the lineup.

MacVeagh Still Out

Munro will still be minus the services of starter Charlie MacVeagh at inside left, out with a sprained ankle. MacVeagh practiced yesterday, but Munro is saving him for the Dartmouth contest Friday. Inside right Barry Russman, who also has a sprained ankle, should be ready for action against the Indians.

Hank Holmes will start at outside left; Captain Grey Hodnett, moved over from center forward to fill in for MacVeagh, will start at inside left; Robin Magowan will start at center forward, replacing Hodnett; and Jim Shue will go at inside right. Ken McIntosh will fill out the line at outside right.

John Felstiner at left halfback, Tony Oberschall at center half, and Marshall Schwarz, replacing Harry Wexler at right half, comprise the midfielders. Henry Blohm will replace Chris Provenson at right fullback, while Don Beaver will play as usual at left full. Elliot Finkelstein will tend the nets.
