A sudden fire in Thayer North caused $100 worth of damage before it was discovered.
John W. Reboul '59 discovered the blaze and turned in the alarm. He and David L. Gunn '59 grabbed fire extinguishers and ran to the fire. The first spraying brought the fire under control and the second reduced it to a pile of embers.
A loose connection probably caused the short circuit which ignited clothing and papers on the top of a chest of drawers in the room of Gerald E. Bunker '59 and Graham E. Fuller '59.
