Three members of the Crimson baseball nine placed on the recent Greater Boston League All-Star Team.
Captain Ken Rossano was one of four pitchers chosen, John Simourian received the first base nomination, and leftfielder Dick Fisher, injured for half the season, was picked as the fourth outfielder.
The varsity nine has five games to play after examinations end. It will meet Boston College at B.C. on June 6, for the Greater Boston League championship. June 8, the varsity plays at Tufts, and the next day opposes Amherst there.
Two commencement Week games with Yale close the schedule. The only home game of the post-exam period comes on the 13th, and the Crimson returns the Eli visit with the year's finale the 18th. Yale tied Princeton for the EIBL title. The teams have decided to count their first Commencement game to determine the championship.
The Crimson enters its final five games with a 13-5 overall record. It has already beaten Tufts and lost to Yale this season.
