Dr. Bernard D. Davis, present chairman of the Department of pharmacology at the New York University College of Medicine, has been appointed professor of Bacteriology and Immunology at the University and head of the department of the same title at the Medical School.
Davis is primarily known for his use of minute living organisms to study cell function under normal and abnormal conditions.
