Blood Campaign Lags As Only 725 Appear

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Chances that the Phillips Brooks House Blood Drive will reach its goal are "pretty bleak," after the fourth consecutive day of disappointing returns, Leon Rothenberg '60, co-chairman of the drive, said yesterday.

"All in all, the drive has been a failure," Rothenberg admitted. The campaign's goal is to collect a record 1100 pints of blood, but the 140 donors who contributed yesterday brought the four-day total to only 725 pints.
