Righthander Jon Silverman will take the mound this afternoon as the freshman baseball team meets the University of New Hampshire and goes after its ninth win.

Coach Adolph Samborski chose the tricky curve-baller from Cambridge after Silverman's three impressive performances in freshman "B" games, including a one-hitter Friday. Since the Yardlings have regained their previous hitting strength, Silverman can count on plenty of support at the plate.
