Princeton Rates Rise

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Beginning next fall, all Princeton students will pay a flat rate of $360 a year for dormitory rooms. The standard charge will replace the present $130-$290 annual price range, and is part of a $250 tuition rise per student announced for next year.

The new Princeton rate is still well below the average price in the $260-$350 range of Harvard upperclassmen yearly room rents. Even the freshman flat rate of $420 per year exceeds the new Princeton charge.
