'Crime' All-Star Eleven to Tackle Staff of Yale 'Daily News' Today

The Harvard CRIMSON, Cambridge's breakfast table daily, combines its forces this morning to take on the Yale Daily News, supposedly "The Oldest College Daily," in a touch football contest on the Old Campus at 11 a.m.

Several of the CRIMSON's stars will make only a token appearance in the some-what traditional contest; at halftime they will run off for the varsity's training table before the other game in the afternoon. Leading the Harvard team at quarterback will be sports editor Jumbo Ullyot, former passing great from Minneapolis.

In preparation for the slash and in anticipation of Ullyot's passing game, the Yalie Dailie has drilled all week. Publication of Yale's newspaper was suspended Wednesday to all the OCD troops time to practice formations and to get some sleep.

Yale also bases its attack on passing--by quarterback Malcolm "The Lance" Liebman. Clyde Patton and Dick Bland, formerly under the tutelage of Yale coach Jordan Olivar, are "The Lance's" favorite receivers.

The Daily News uses a variation of a split-T, with a lonely end. In previous games against the Yale Record, the Department of Athletics, and the Smith intramural champs, the News also displayed a deceptive "muddle huddle." "Goddamn deceptive," commented Oliver after noticing the OCD in competition.

The CRIMSON rolls into New Haven after a banner year, including victories over the Harvard Lampoon, Radcliffe's Briggs Hall, and the Crimson Printing Company "Pressmen."

Game time is 11 a.m., in the Old Campus. Refreshments served by the host team will be available to the throngs.
