Whatever may have been the turning point of this fall's season, it is certain that what seemed likely to become a sixth-place squad has fought magnificently to emerge at the very top of the Ivy League.

The most remarkable aspect of this considerable achievement is that it was made by a group that may often have legitimate cause to wonder if they are the only people at Harvard College genuinely interested in beating Yale. Fortunately, they are not, as the immense crowd that watched the New Haven shutout showed, and their splendid victory demands all the compliments and congratulations we can give it.
