Adams House Group Begins Investigation Of Food Criticism

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Adams House Committee has taken up the question of the food served the dining hall in response to recent student complaints about its quality. Tames T. Halverson '62, chairman of the committee, admitted that "there is real discontent" among the students about the food.

But most of the concrete issues raised are been rather trivial, he explained. Students have expressed dissatisfaction with the preponderance of yellow over been vegetables during the winter. They are also complained that the ice cream which is served in blocks is inferior in to ice cream which is dished out.

Halverson did not seem to feel that the issue was very serious. He said he had discussed the matter a few with the superintendent of the hall, and indicated that this was probably the best way to handle the complaints.
