For most of those present yesterday thing, the high point was an address Robert E. Smith '62, president of the CRIMSON. Waving a copy of the University daily, Smith said, "this is the CRIMSON. Some of you may have seen Some of you may even get it in your rooms or something."
Rewarding Experience?
Smith continued, "Now I wouldn't just stand here with a straight face and tell you the CRIMSON is a rewarding experience if I didn't believe it myself, now, would I?" At this point he became consumed in a fit of giggles and the rest his talk was incomprehensible.
But Smith has promised to try again night, beginning promptly at 7:30 p.m. Water and Coke will be on tap for protective candidates.
