A racial equality demonstration in Boston today may well include a dozen Harvard students and Faculty members. A total of about 20 people will participate in the demonstration, according to Alan Gartner, chairman of the Boston Committee on Racial Equality.

Gartner called the demonstration "an attempt to exert moral pressure' on the S.S. Kreage department store chain to finish their desegregation. The chain is completely integrated except for stores in five cities in the South.

Kreage has refused to discuss the completion of their desegregation with CORE officials, Gartner emphasized. He felt that the desegregation of a chairs with stores is the Deep South would set a trend.

CORE will stage the demonstration at 1:30 p.m. is front at the Kreage store at 447 Washington St.
