Four Radcliffe College off-campus houses may be converted into graduate school dormitories next year to accomodate approximately 65 graduate students who may lose their housing when a College lease runs out in June.
The Houses are Henry, Lancaster, and Jarvis 13 and 13A.
At the same time, Edmands and Everett Houses, currently used as co-operatives, will become off-campus houses for students who will eat two meals in the Quad dormitories. When the new co-operatives on the corner of Shepard and Walker Sts. open next September for 75 students, Everett and Edmands will no longer be needed in their present capacity, Joan C. King, assistant Dean of Residence and Student Affairs, explained yesterday.
She stressed that the plan to change Henry, Lancaster, and Jarvis 13 and 13A into graduate dorms "isn't yet definite and may never come about."
