A Quincy House sophomore is in Stillman Infirmary today after being beaten over the head with a baseball bat during a fight early yesterday morning.
Graham R. Smith '63 reported that he was attacked by a "fat guy," evidently not a student, during a three cornered battle in front of Hayes Hickford's. The attacker come out of a crowd of on-lookers while Smith was engaged in a "clean fight" with another man and proceeded to hit Smith over the head and back with the bat.
Cambridge police arrested the attacker and booked him for assault with a dangerous weapon.
