The Dunster House Committee last night started a battle over Dartmouth week-end dances that may grow as heated as the game. Rejecting the assignments of the inter-House social committee, Dunster voted to hold a Dartmouth dance despite the fact that Lowell and Adams had previously been granted rights for the date. Dunster was given the Brown dance.

Unrepresented at last Spring's meeting of the inter-House committee, Dunster last night claimed there were "irregularities" in the dance assignments.

David A. Othmer '63 Dunster chairman, said his committee has offered to share profits with the other Houses but reported that "this compromise has been rejected."

The heads of the Adams and Lowell committees were reportedly quite upset over Dunster's decision to try for part of the lucrative Dartmouth dance market. The House Masters will decide tonight if Dunster can go ahead with its plans.
