Applicant Rate Is Steady

The number of applicants to the class of '67 should be almost exactly equal to the number who applied to the class of '66. Fred L. Glimp '50, dean of admissions, estimated that the total would be about 5100. Last year, the admissions office received 5060 applications.

As of Monday, the office had tabulated exactly 4300 applications, compared to 4309 at this time last year.
