To the Editors of the CRIMSON:
As a recent graduate, I was distressed to read in the Oct. 15 New York Times that Radcliffe students had given an "enthusiastic" welcome to Madame Ngo Dinh Nhu on Monday (Oct. 14). The Times' description of a College audience applauding this woman "at every possible chance" during her address is hardly a tribute to the much-vaunted intelligence of Radcliffe women.
If the College was determined to provide an audience for this spokenwoman for a vicious and corrupt minor dictatorship, it should at least have given her the reception--polite, but clearly disapproving--she deserves. Linda Greenberg '62
