QUINTET OPENS SEASON TONIGHT

Harvard's varsity basketball team opens its 1963 season this evening against the Bowdoin College quintet at 8:30 p.m. on the Indoor Athletic Building court. The one dollar admission fee will be waived for undergraduates with ticket coupons.

The starting Crimson lineup will contain four returning lettermen. Only new face in the starting five will be sophomore forward, Barry Williams. Captain Bob Inman will fill the other forward position, and Mele McClung will serve as pivot. Leo Scully and Alan Bornheimer will take the backcourt for the Crimson.

Bowdoin, located in Brunswick, Me, was Harvard's first opponent in the 1960 season. In an overtime contest, the Crimson edged the Polar Bears, 63-66.
