J.V.'s, Yardlings Tackle Princeton; Rain May Hamper Passing Attacks

Crimson J.V. and freshman football squads take on Princeton opponents at 10:30 a.m. today in previews to the more beralded varsity contest. Both the morning games are on Webster sold behind the Stadium.

Tomorrow's weather promises more rain, a factor which could upset any Crimson passing plans. Thus far, both the J.V.'s and the yardlings have effectively utilised pass attacks in their offenses. The J.V.'s stand 3-3 for the season, having lost to Penn, Brown, and Dartmouth. The Yardlings are 2-0 with victories over Tufts and Dartmouth.

The J.V.'s will be missing the services of one of their most effective backs, Leo Swift. Swift was injured last week against Penn. Aside from Swift's absence, the starting backfield remains intact. John McCluskie, who has been the team's offensive spark-plug, will start at quarterback with George Nevill and James Halpern at the half-back slots. Askold Kohimann will be at fullback.

Lamer Expects Tough Contest

The freshman team will confront the Tigers with the same lineup it has used in its two previous victories. Coach Henry Lamar expects a tough contest from the Tigers who are 4-1.

Princeton teams will offer their traditional single-wing offensive formations against the Crimson.
