The Crimson foil contingent, traditionally the weak sister of Harvard's fencing squad, paved the way to a 16-11 romp over M.I.T. last night.
Dan Kirsch, Pete Busch, and Dave Dooley garnered eight victories, which gave the Crimson the margin for their third triumph of the season, against one setback.
The sabremen squeaked past the Engineers, 5 to 4, as Paul Zygas won three and Larry Butler two. But the Techman slashed Harvard in the spee, 6 to 2 as only Paul Winig was able to win two bouts.
Boasting a 3-1 record, blemished only by a loss to N.Y.U., the feacing team will journey to New York Saturday to take on the always-powerful Beavers of C.C.N.Y.
