Buy Now, You Freshmen

Rosemary Blake '64 (above, left) and Mary Lowenthal '63 opened ticket sales for the Freshman Jubilee Weekend last night in the Harvard Union. The girls sold 172 tickets to the festivity, which is scheduled for April 26-23. Daniel C. Goldfarb '66, chairman of this year's Jubilee planning committee, stated that at least 350 tickets must be sold if the weekend is to show a profit.

The freshman weekend, which suffered a loss of $1700 in 1962, will be discontinued if the Class of '66 does not record a profit this year. After last year's freshman class incurred a deficit, the HCUA appointed a committee to study the Jubilee Weekend. The committee blamed the failure of the weekend on a lack of class spirit, but proposed to allow the activity to continue.
