Seniors will say their traditional farewell to Harvard College at 10 a.m. in Class Day Exercises in Sever Quadrangle.
First Marshall David Rockefeller, Jr. will lead the class in the march from the Old Yard, assisted by Second Marshall Wesley S. Williams, Third Marshall C. William Taylor, and Fourth Marshall David L. Johnston. The Harvard Band will provide music for the procession.
Following a prayer by R. Jerrold Gibson, Acting Minister of Memorial Church, the Class Oration will be delivered by Albert Joseph Clements of Houston, Texas, and the Class Poem will be delivered by Fritz E.A. Eager of New Canaan, Conn. The traditional humorous talk, the Ivy Oration, will be given by Thomas J. Babe, Jr., of Rochester, N.Y.
Two outstanding seniors will receive awards for self-reliance, character, and leadership. Then the colors of the Class of 1963 will be presented by the First Marshall to the Class of 1966.
In case of rain, the Exercises will be held in Lowell lecture Hall.
