The editorial on page three of today's Summer News, "A Basic Principle," discusses the Summer School administration's position on the Socialist Club controversy as it was outlined by Thomas E. Crooks, director of the School, in a telephone interview Wednesday afternoon.
In a later interview, Mr. Crooks presented additional reasons for the School's action. These arguments, and the previous one, are outlined in the story to the right.
Due to printing schedules, the editorial went to press before the second interview, While the now arguments do not affect the substance of the Summer News' editorial position, they will be explored in a second editorial Tuesday.
