A second Harvard professor has declared he supports Senator Barry Goldwater, according to Denison Kitchel, the Senator's campaign manager.
Kitchel said in Washington that Dan T. Smith, professor of Finance at the Business School, has joined a newly formed group of business professors in the Scholars for Goldwater-Miller organization.
Gottfried Haberler, Galen L. Stone Professor of International Trade at the School of Public Administration, was reported some months ago to be a member of Goldwater's "brain trust."
In his announcement, Kitchel said Goldwater was pleased that "a group of distinguished scholars" shared his economic views.
