Paul Padlack, a member of the Harvard freshman wrestling team, won the 155 pound division in the Lawrence Open Tournament at Lawrence, Mass., Saturday. Padlack won five matches on the way to his victory, including a pair of pins and decisions over two former New England champions, Norm Salem by a 1-0 score and John Sullivan by 2-0.
Two Harvard graduate students also scored in the AAU-sponsored event, open to any amateur wrestler. Al Steinberg of the Medical School took second place in the 165-pound class, and Rick Sullivan was third at 174 pounds.
