If the weather is clear tonight, North Americans will be able to see a total lunar eclipse. Beginning at 7:59 p.m., it will become total at 9:07 and remain so for an hour. The moon will pass entirely out of the earth's umbral shadow at 11:15 Look for the craters and the lunar seas--the whole country will not see another eclipse until April 12, 1963.
