Matmen Meet Tigers; Pereira May Be Out

In its last two Ivy League outings, the Crimson wrestling team has beaten Columbia by two points and lost to Penn by one. Tomorrow's match at Princeton ought to be just as close.

There's only one way to beat the Tigers-get a big lead against their inexperienced lightweights and hang on while their outstanding middle and heavyweights try to come from behind. Columbia beat them that way, 16-15; Penn took advantage of three pins and won, 21-13.

The problem is made more difficult for the Crimson by an injury suffered last week by Fred Pereira, Harvard captain and star 167-pounder. Pereira will make the trip to Princeton, but may not be able to wrestle. If he can't wrestle, Lamar Fertig will fill in for him.
