Cornell beat Princeton Saturday night in the battle for first place in the Ivy League. The 70-69 victory ran Cornell's Ivy record to 5-0 and dropped Princeton into a second place tie with Penn at 3-1.
Bill Bradley led a Tiger drive that erased a 17-points Cornell lead in the second half, and his 40th point put Princeton ahead 69-68 with 2:16 to go. Blaine Aston scored for Cornell with 3 seconds left.
