A majority of students using Lamont to not want Cliffles in the library, according to a poll taken last Wednesday by the HUC, Sixty-two per cent of the rolled students voted to keep the girls out of Lamont.
Nineteen per cent of the students surveyed thought girls should be allowed in the library weekdays from 9 to 5 and 10 per cent thought they should be allowed in at all times.
Theodore G. Alevizos, Assistant Librarian for Undergraduate Services, Librarian to say when a final decision would be reached. He did say, however, that the library is there to serve the students. Therefore, student opinion will be an important factor in the decision of the library administration.
