Booters to Face Bruin Freshman

The freshman soccer team faces unbeaten Brown Friday, after suffering its first defeat at the hands of Princeton last Saturday.

Princeton scored early in the first half when Crimson fullback Bill Gray lost his footing on the slippery grass, allowing Tiger forward Davidson to get by him After that, the Crimson seemed demoralized, and Princeton won 3-0.

Brown, led by forward Bob Young, has won all ten of its games. Young, brother of freshman coach Alan Young, has scored a phenomenal 16 goals.

The Crimson junior varsity, which has not lost a game in the two years of its existence, faces B.C. Friday. With left wing Michel Jean-Baptiste scoring five goals, the JVs have won seven games this year, including a 3-1 decision over Brown.
